Year for Priests

Pope Benedict XVI has declared a “Year for Priests” beginning with the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on June 19, 2009. The year will conclude in Rome with an international gathering of priests with the Holy Father on June 19, 2010.

With the announcement of this Year for Priests, the Pope has declared St. John Vianney the Universal Patron of Priests on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the death of the Curé d’Ars.

Please pray for our priests that they might always be faithful to their sacred calling. Pray daily for the priests of the Diocese of Palm Beach.

The Holy Land Pilgrimage

with Greece and Aegean Cruise, 14 Days

Hosted by: Fr. Gavin Badway, Holy Name of Jesus and Fr. Kevin Nelson, Holy Spirit

April 14 - 28. 2010.  $3,758.00, All Inclusive!  Except lunches on land tour and excursions on the cruise.

Friends in Christ,  In the words of St. Paul, the Peace of our Lord be with you.

It is a pleasure to offer this “Journey of a Lifetime”, one that you will never forget.  What a blessing it will be to see the very places where Jesus lived, ministered, suffered, died, and rose from the dead, as well as the places where many Old Testament figures encountered God.  As a pilgrim you will be united with Christ as you journey to the places from his birth to his death, you will never be the same again.  The last part of the trip will be a special treat, and somewhat relaxing, as we cruise through the Greek Isles to the places where St. Paul spread the Gospel.  Join us on this exciting two week trip and deepen you love of God.  We look forward to making this journey with you right after we celebrate Easter 2010.       Your brothers in Christ, Fr. Gavin and Fr. Kevin
